Its that time again!!

I have known Brady's mom since I was 7! So it was super awesome to be there in his first week:) Such a precious baby...so much fun to take pictures of. And I love that mom and dad knew what they wanted..OILERS!lol. I hope you are happy with them..I had alot of fun with this shoot!

I Love Birthdays!

This weekend was super special..not just because of Valentines Day but my grandma turned 85!!
It was a super awesome day today and I am so happy that most of my family was there to celebrate with her:)
I wanted to post a picture of the cake my aunt made.....it is super amazing!! It is a basket of yarn....hand-made out of fondant...she always does an awesome job on her cakes (she does the wedding cakes for the nieces and nephews in the family) and thought I would share her "art" with you!!

I haven't picked up my camera much in the last couple of months.....and I know in my previous post I said I was going to do the 365 project,but I have come to realize I don't want to.LOL. So! my new goal is just to start taking pictures again...easy enough. Here a a few that I took of sweet Emma the other day...and the last one is a friend of hers...for some reason I love it..even though it isn't super clear..... I love it!!

I'm baaackkk!!!!

OK I am making a commitment to myself to start this up again. I have wallowed in self pity for far too long...life must go on.
Tomorrow I am starting a project....365. I have been thinking of doing this for sometime but never got around to doing it. (not sure why) I am hoping that I will gain a bit of confidence in my pictures and myself as a amateur.
Also, I am super duper excited for the month of February!! I am starting to take some photography work shops!!! I KNOW this will help me!!! Can't wait:)
For a second tonight I was thinking of starting my own personal blog,then I woke up. I can't even keep up with this one!lol. ok so I guess I didn't really have a point to this post...everything is kinda everywhere but at least I blogged!!
Tomorrow is day 1!!!

I'm blue...

I can't believe how bad I have slacked in the blogging department!! Actually the picture taking department also. I am still here...don't blame you people who have left....I have gone through a very rough time over the last little while. I don't get very personal on here and feel I need to save this blog for the business aspect of things. But what I can tell you is that my wonderful grandfather passed away a couple weeks ago after a very short battle with cancer. On top of this I am also dealing with some other things so it has made for a very poopy month or so. I have no urge to pick up a camera right now....it stares at me everyday though...lol. I am hoping once some time passes I will start feeling better and get back into the swing of things...but as of right now I need to take care of myself:)

Takin er' easy...

OK, So I just realized today that it has been A LONG time since I posted. I have fallen behind with this blog thingy but still super fast with the turn around of my pictures!lol. Not too sure if anyone even reads this...if you do then sorry I have been MIA. I am trying to finish up what is on my plate right now and I am going to take a break from being so busy. NOT from taking pictures...just being sooo busy that I feel like all I do is sit in front of the computer:) I am super tired lately and hope that it will pass soon:) Hope you all understand:)

Stephen and Melissa family...

I went to elementary school with S!! And here I am taking pictures of his beautiful family! Small world! It was another awesome fall day outside. I tried to coax little E with candy but didn't work so well. Note: E doesn't like Mike and Ikes!lol. All in all it was another successful shoot. I got to meet another great family! I love this job!

Sweet kids.....

These kids are super awesome!!! I had so much fun photographing them!! Some of these pictures are the due to the power of candy.lol. It is amzing what you can get kids to do for 5 cent gummies:) I am so glad to have gotten back in touch with their mom...thanks to wonderful facebook. Your kids rock Suz! Thanks for a fun day in the leaves!

I can't.....

Upload any pictures!! The last 2 days it has told me the site is experiencing some problems...hopefully they will be fixed soon!!


I braved the cold today (so did a brave,brave family.lol) to take some pictures. It was the fastest shoot I have ever done:) It is getting too cold out.... and I don't have an indoor studio. What will I do this winter??I hope the weather holds up for another couple of weeks...so I can get all my bookings done!!

Meet Charlie!!!

Isn't he the cutest little thing?? I love him! My sister and brother in law decided to extend their family this past weekend and I don't think they could have picked a cuter dog:) I went over there on Saturday to take some pictures of him playing...here a a couple I got of him actually sitting for a split second.....did I say that I love him yet?

I took this picture today.....I don't know if its because its so late and I have been super busy all day with pictures but when I went through the pictures I did today I absolutley fell in love with this one!! I think it is hilarious!! I love the smile on the baby's face and how everyone is looking at him. Just something about it makes me smile:)

What a great family!! They were so much fun to photograph...it made my job super easy!!
We had a great evening,once again,and I think they turned out really well:) Robyn is a friend of mine ,(my friends are the best customers!Thank you for all the support..btw.lol.)You have a beautiful family...can't wait to meet the newest addition!

Today was not a fun day. Stressful to say the least. I tend to stress out about things waaayyy too much. I have fixed my sizing problem but feel not so good about it:( Live and learn I was told today. So true.
I just got home from an awesome shoot and think that I have redeemed myself.(hope so anyway.lol) Stay tuned and you shall see:0)

What a beautiful family. Diane is a great friend of mine (so happy to have you my life girl!!) and such beautiful person,on the inside and out:) This was my second shoot that evening so I was on a role! Despite the loss of light half way through they turned out great:) I tend to gravitate to this park but I love it and find there are so many photo-ops ,every where! I hope you enjoy them!!

This was my second time shooting Hailey. She is much bigger now and has the sweetest personality.Her parents are so much fun which made the shoot easy...and fun! Shawna had some great ideas ( I LOVE when people give me ideas...just a little FYI) These are your pictures:)
On a side note.....
I am going to call this shoot "The Poop Shoot". I showed up to the park beforehand to scope it out. I set my camera bag down and within seconds a bird came by and pooped on my bag. I didn't notice so I went to pick my bag up...you can imagine the mess.lol. So later while I was taking some pictures I noticed a foul smell....I had stepped and kneeled in dog poop. I couldn't stop though and miss my photo op:) The things I do..sheesh.lol.

I am BUSY!!!!

Oh my Gosh...am I EVER!! I love it though:) Just wanted to let you all know (there I go again with you all.lol...I know of only a couple people who read this) that you will be getting pictures back in 1-2 weeks. To me it seems like an eternity(heehee) but I just can't edit them fast enough:)

What a perfect day for fall pictures!!! The weather was awesome......the leaves were falling. What more could you ask for? This isn't the first time I photographed these little munchkins....back in the day when I was amateur(LOL) I took pics of them:) (they are my family...really they are) I loved how these turned out!
